With the recent 'next installment' of the Bikes in Schools project in New Zealand, kids at Apanui School are now enjoying the fun and excitement that comes with learning to ride.

ByK Kids Bikes is among the influential Melbourne inventions to be featured at Melbourne Scienceworks' major exhibition, Wallace & Gromit's World of Invention.

We are very excited to be part of the fabulous new exhibition which is exploring themes of innovation and inventiveness.

Richmond School in Napier is the latest school to take part in the Government sponsored children's bicycle program, BikeOn.

They now have a wonderful 550m+ Riding Track, a Pump Track and also a very cool bike Skills Track as well as 50 new bikes and a helmet for every student.

In recent news in the Bay Weekend and the Whakatane Beacon, Ross Gilchrist was interviewed as part of the story on the donation of six new ByK Kids Bikes to the Cycle Action Whakantane programme.

The ByK bicycles provded are the same as the 60 which will be permanently placed in Apanui School as part of the Cycle Action Whakantane's Bikes in Schools pilot project.

Once again the Kids Bicycle Company was a sponsor of the Briars Highland Fling - the Australian Mountain Bike Marathon Championship race.

Over 2300 riders entered the Fling this year with over 150 Kids Flingers getting into it on their bikes - a great turnout!

Kids Bike Co offered 4x lucky Mums Say members the chance to trial and review the ByK kids bikes on their own children. Some of them have experienced difficulty with their kids' learning-to-ride experiences but, after the trial, all gave the thumbs up that the ByK Kids bikes are revolutionary and ensure the best possible learning experience for their children.

Cool Australian bicycle lifestyle publication, Treadlie Magazine, recently had a great little write-up on ByK Bikes in their Toolkit section. Its always great to get some home grown magazine interest!
